Fawad Chaudhry expresses his desire to be Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister
KARACHI: Pakistan's Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has expressed his desire to become Deputy Prime Minister of the country.
At a seminar titled The Future Summit on Wednesday, Chaudhry said: The only difference between Pakistan, China, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia is the technology.
Chaudhry added that the Minister of Science and Technology also serves as Deputy Prime Minister in these countries, saying: Hopefully, the Prime Minister ( Imran Khan ) will take care, reported Geo News.
We are building the largest biotechnology center in South Asia. Green energy is the future, and the transmission of electricity is not via masts and cables, but via green energy, he said as well.
Pakistan had entered science in 1951 and was the first country in South Asia to lay fiber optics, the minister said.
In the future, Pakistan would have to benefit from state-of-the-art technology.
