Hyderabad vet murder: A forensic report found alcohol on the victim's body

HYDERABAD: Disha's postmortem forensic toxicology report confirmed the presence of alcohol in her body. In the record of the remand case issued to the court after the arrest of the four accused, Shadnagar police said the suspects forced Disha to drink alcohol while raping her near the Tondupally toll plaza on November 27.

The report confirmed that the doctor's veterinary liver tissue contained alcohol. Disha parked her scooter near the Tondupally toll plaza at 6pm and boarded a taxi to go to Gachibowli. After consulting with a dermatologist at Olive Hospital in Gachibowli, he boarded another cab and returned to the toll plaza around 9.30pm on November 27. In between, he did not stop anywhere. So, the alcohol on his body is what the four accused are trying to do, a police official said.

Shadnagar police, investigating the gangrape and murder case, have received a toxicology report from the TSFSL.

Police also received FSL reports confirming that the seminal stains found on the victim's scarf and undergarment were among the four accused - Mohammed Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Ch Chennakesavulu. Similarly, the identity of the victim was also confirmed in a DNA test. Disha's DNA collected from her sternum bone matched the DNA samples of her immediate family member, forensic experts have confirmed.

Although the accused were killed in an encounter in Chatanpally on December 6, police will file a charge before the court after collecting all the evidence.

Disha was shot and killed by the accused on November 27 at a toll plaza near Shamshabad and her body was later hidden in an underpass at Chatanpally near Shadnagar in the early hours of November 28. Police arrested four accused. on November 29th.
